Every card is also money. That is the whole game.

A card game about running a small record label: sign artists, finish three genres, refuse what the others play at you. 1 to 5 people in a browser, about 20 minutes.

The one on this shelf for a team that has already played the quick ones and wants something with a decision in it. Nothing here is about vocabulary, general knowledge or being funny on demand, so it lands the same way for somebody three months into the job and somebody three days into the language — the whole game is on the table in front of everybody, in figures.

It is also the one where being ahead makes you the target, which is a better shape for a work game than it sounds. The person closest to winning is the person everybody else has a reason to charge, so a runaway leader corrects itself and nobody spends fifteen minutes knowing they have lost.

Three is the sweet spot and five is the ceiling. Below three there is nobody to play the others off against; above five the wait between turns starts to cost more than the turn is worth, because a demand against four people is four separate arguments.
