A route-building board game for 1 to 5 in a browser. Thirty-four European cities, sixty-four lines, and the one you want is the one they want. About 30 minutes, no signup.
The long one, and it is the only long one. Thirty minutes with four people thinking is a different booking from the rest of this shelf, and it is worth making deliberately: a team that has run out of new things to say to each other on a Friday call gets more out of one board they are all reading than out of three quick rounds of anything.
Nothing in it is a test of English. The board is thirty-four place names and eight colours, and a turn is a thing you do rather than a thing you say — so the person whose third language this is competes exactly as well as anybody else, which is not true of half the games here.
It is also the best of them at absorbing an interruption. Turns are yours alone and the board does not move while you are gone, so somebody stepping out for four minutes costs the table one clock rather than a round. Play it with the call muted and four people looking at the same map.
