Out of Place

One of you is lying. Twenty minutes to find out.

A social deduction game for 3 to 8 people in a browser. Everyone knows where they are except one person; ask questions until you find them. About 20 minutes, no signup.

This is the one to reach for when a team has just picked up two new people and nobody has heard anybody else ask a question yet. It is entirely made of asking and answering, it hands the quiet ones a turn by construction — the questioning goes round rather than to whoever speaks first — and nothing in it rewards knowing the others already.

It is also the safest of the eight for a mixed room. Nobody is eliminated, nobody sits out, and the worst thing that happens to you is that four colleagues vote for you and are wrong.
